The Light of Learning for Arun Arun’s home had no electricity, making it hard for him to study at night. With the donation of a solar lamp through our “Lights of Learning” campaign, Arun now has the tools he needs to study. He recently secured first place in his district’s science fair.
Anjali’s Bright Future Anjali, a young girl from a remote village, had never been to school. Her parents couldn’t afford to send her. Savera’s sponsorship program gave her the opportunity to attend school, and she quickly became a top student in her class. She aspires to become a doctor and serve her village.
Meena’s Path to Self-Reliance Meena, a single mother of two, struggled to make ends meet. Through Savera’s skill development program, she learned tailoring and started her own small business. Now, she not only supports her family but also teaches tailoring to other women in her community.
Ramesh, a 12-year-old boy, used to spend his days working at a roadside tea stall to support his family. With Savera’s intervention, he was enrolled in school, provided with books, and given mentorship. Today, he excels in his studies and dreams of becoming a teacher to help others like him.
